Pen hook - are you pulling a boat with that travel time, or do you keep a boat at your lake house? we pull our boat but we still make good time, we have our little stops where we always stop on the way up,but we still usually get up there in about an hour and 30 minutes after stopping |

We fell in love with this lake 2 yrs. ago after visiting my sister and family. We leave Sacramento, Ca. at 9:45 pm flying into Greensboro, in our condo by noon the following day. Boat on the lift.

We came out early March planned on heading back yesterday but things changed. Staying here for probably another month. I'm from a rural part of Calif. (retired farmer) and love the rural feel of Southern Va. Got a boat of my dreams - Ranger, set of golf clubs and 8 rolls of toilet paper, life is great.
