2:45 from just east of Raleigh NC n worth every min of travel time to Westlake marina we love the motel the lake n all the people I wanna giv a shout out to Dwight n Hawk always helpful n friendly The Drag Racing Fishermen !!!

We drive 2 hours from Greensboro NC. but keep our boat at Crazy Horse we finally caught our first stripers last weekend. we didn't check the size limits- so stupidly we threw back an 18" er but the second was a nice 25" Attachments:

Seriously though.... a towel is not a great way to hold one you plan to release as it removes the slime coating from the fish, making it prone to disease/infection later.... Grab em with Bogas, fish grips, or the ol' thumb and index index finger - though I realize those little guys can be VERY spastic when they come into the boat green.... |

251 miles, 4 1/2 hours from Hollywood, MD to Hardy Bridge. Ancestors from Huddleston and Bedford and Mom born in Roanoke so it besides the fishing it is always fun to make the trip.

A little over 4 hours from Hampton, can only make 3-4 trips a year with a 200+ mile journey each way.
