You may want to make sure you get the newer version with the “indestructible” tip. I have a few friends who have had multiple broken rods with the original rod. To their credit, they made improvements to it but that was within the last year or so.

I don’t know from experience, but from the tlc given to these rods, this is what you want to get. Attention and detail from mcward shows he cares. Just a thought.
