First of a set of rods that will be destined for SML.
Blank is a composite blank with a fiberglass upper section and carbon lower - with Extra-Fast action & Light power (salt-water rated - more like MH when comparing to fresh-water striper rods) & which has been cut down to 6'-6" - and others in the set will be 6'-9" and 7', and custom painted a metallic dark blue.
This rod features simple black EVA grips to set off the beautiful ALPS ForeCast red aluminum gimbal & reel-seat, along with the red framed guides from Mud Hole Custom Tackle, which are spiral wrapped in a classy, complementing red, black & gold under & overwrap.
The centerpiece of the rod is a multi-axis shaded Chevron wrap with just a hint of gold bling - which is sure to attract many stripers to the boat.
