I almost always use braid with a fluorocarbon leader. I catch more fish with that than a mono leader.

yeah, i got rid of fluorocarbon a while ago.
i had always heard its invisible underwater almost to the fish. so then i tried some, cant remember which brand, and i had bluegill coming up and attacking my line. bluegill never came and attacked my mono...

yeah all i use is mono or braid on specific reels
