11th, skunk pulled 5 light line eels with PBS, and a float all day. I ran against the tide and wind all day. I pulled at Chesapeake Bay around 9 foot shoals, Latimer shoals and in the middle of the bridge. I pulled just like on SML. Nothing. 12th anchored chummed, bunker, eels 2eels on PB, 1 float eel, 4 down rods with 8 oz pyramid sinkers on bottom in 15 fow with cut bunker. I caught this, he did make it in the boat. Measured 38 in. Had to be 40 in to keep. No pic in boat, I fought him a long time and wanted to get him back in water. I would not have thought this way if it wasn't for the forum teaching me to respect the fishery. 5 minutes later i doubled up by myself. Both were Cobia. I got one to the side of boat. I was not trying to take a pic because he was HUGE! The hook came out! 2 for Cobia 1 for me to release What a fight!

Keep us updated Primetime. I wanna see you wear those cobia out, so i can live vicariously through you while i sit at my office chair..... caught those 2 yesterday, that is a cobia following the ray, I showed to Chris here at the bay and she said that is a ray. Also if the rays are around so are the cobia, they follow the rays to pick up the trash they leave behind. I lost another nice cobia today.

That looks like a good size cobia following that ray in. Your overdue to put one in the boat, it'll happen. If I were you id keep a bucktail rigged and ready to pitch in front of a cobia if you see one cruising or following in another fish. Must be real fun on those striper rods.
