that is true mward but just think of the money you would be saving by buying the last reels you will ever need by time you go through 2 sets of other reels you've paid for them Nice looking reels Mark!! BUT nothing lasts forever.

BUT nothing lasts forever. IF anything ever happens to it send it back to them and they will fix or replace. The first one I bought was the display model of the shop i was at. It was missing the rod clamp and missing 2 side plate screws and another was stripped. Shop sold it to me at a discount price. Contacted Release Reels and told me to either bring it by or ship it to them and they would take care of it. Or I could have everything shipped to me since it was minor things i could do myself. I decided to take it to them since I was going to be 45 minutes from their shop. They completely dissembled it and when through and cleaned and regressed everything on top of fixing the minor issue's and on top gave me a couple of extra extra parts just in case since im hard on my gear. They do a complete tear down and rebuild on all reels that come in for service or repair. And since their warranty is 100% and lifetime is why i say last reel you will need to buy. Ive seen what they have done for other customers as well and their customer service alone is worth the money. Not to mention they are not cheap overseas made crap either.

If I bought 8 reels at $250+/ea those would definately be the last reels I'd ever buy as I'd be dead when the bill arrived

What about when the rod goes overboard or ,in my case recently, if someone likes it better than you do? Not trying to steal your thunder. They are nice looking reels!!

Tackle Warehouse has almost everything 20% through 12/5/2104. I have used them before and was pleased. Their prices are decent on most things to begin with, the additional 20% is a real (reel) bonus.

Here is one of the Release Reel models. Very modern space age design. With the amount of torque the reel generates, once you get the fish on top of the water, you can hydroplane him to the net.

Release Reels SG all the way. None level wind less to break, all aluminum, will handle anything you can throw at it and comes with a 100% warrenty. Not to mention they are made right here in Reedville VA. Ive toured their shop and was very impressed. If you want to check one out in person let me know and I'll bring it over Thanks, Christmas came early today, you just lighten my wallet for a used one. Wonder if the warranty covers other than the original owner?
