The fish are here. I have only caught one, but I have about 5 friends that caught over 10 yesterday. From what I am hearing the fish have some good size to them. I'm almost positive that is the first school that's came up. After this weather we are getting I know the water will rise and hopefully it will be another school of nice fish here when the water drops here in brookneal.

A 1/4 jig head with bait worm for the white perch an a white buck tail with a white trailer for the striper. Multi color buck tail for the walleyes. Should be able to catch stripers on buck tails and flukes this weekend. The water is almost back right so hopefully its a big school of them sitting there waiting.

I just went down and took a look at the river. Its still up just a little bit and still a little muddy. I have caught fish when it was a lot worse. It was two boats in so maybe we will have a report on here later on. I will be fishing in the morning no matter what.

I put in around 10 and fished to 3:30, we went up the river to the island an fished from there all the way to clarkton bridge, put the trolling motor out an cast all the way down there. We were using flukes/bucktails/ rebels an didn't get the first hit!
