I like the idea of another get-together and I believe that I may have mentioned or slurred it a couple of times Saturday night!
I realize that I am a newbie to the group but I do think that Tyler made some really good points. Im up for helping to organize something if the group/board could come to a general decision on what to "try" for another meeting. Another way to put it is - I'm willing to help because I realize that I need help, as well!
Also, I don't mind being someone's net man, trolling motor deployer, rigger, go-pro operator (Im addicted to go-pros - I have 3, myself), etc. and split gas.
I might even clean the boat but it can't be filmed or spoken about...and that's as personal as we're getting!

Sorry I missed it guys...I just hope Hotdog didn't get skunked fishing with SS. I can usually make it as long as there are stairs and no one feeds me peanuts with msg. Actually I can still make it with the peanuts but you may not want to shake my hand afterwards.

Holler at me this spring Topgun..we'll pull some big shad around and catch a few studs. Hell, we could do that now, but I don't feel like freezing to death. Late Feb. we'll get it going. Can't hardly wait...

Chad sorry you didnt like the sauce...I made it myself...  Bigjon brings up a good point about the motel situation. Cant beat having that place to ourselves and cutting up a little without having to worry about other folks turning their nose up. SS is right. My Dad really enjoyed the M&G's and Id like to carry on that tradition. When Bo and the boys played simple man the other night it felt like he was right there with us. I aint really had that feeling since catching that citation on my bday the year he died. As for the Mexican restaurant itself it could of been alot better but it was a awesome location with the upstairs to ourselves and hopefully next year they will know what they got coming. Next year I will have to keep a tab myself cuz I still dont think I drank $52 worth of beer...  I really like Tyler and Mward's ideas on the secondary event and having a tournament. I think that would be a pretty fun day. Only issue there would be location. If you used the state park it would be a good place to hang out and tell lies but there would be a issue with alcohol on the premises. So if anyone has a idea on a location Id definitely be in for a tournament event. I been thinking about seeing if anyone had any interest in a coffee can type tournament for flatheads this summer anyways. |
