I know a number of folks fish with a Smartphone in your pocket.... What are the "apps" that you have loaded on them to help out with fishing, planning for fishing, bragging about fishing, etc?
Here are a few that I have loaded on my iPhone - I know there are Android equivalents of some of these, but not familiar with them.
Post up your favorite app - with a link to it if you can, or a brief description, review....
Some iPhone apps....
Fishing Calendar
itunes.apple.com/us/app/fishing-calendar/id305708971?mt=8
Shows "peak" fishing times, moon phases, sunrise/sunset - can detect your location via GPS or you can set it via a zip-code - can look at the info for any date along the calendar. I use this one a lot to check sunrise / sunset times and moon phases.
Navionics USA
itunes.apple.com/us/app/marine-lakes-us-canada/id382815123?mt=8
Has the Navionics charts that you can view without any internet connectivity - latest version has a "community layer" where users can submit updates / content / etc. Nice for planning fishing spots, finding humps, submerged points, etc.
Hunt Fish VA
itunes.apple.com/us/app/hunt-fish-va/id430899744
DGIF app that has fish regs, etc - does require internet access to get to information
Sea Tow
itunes.apple.com/us/app/sea-tow/id507515080?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo%3D4
Pretty cool little app that has Weather/Radar, Tide info, GPS/Compass (including speed over ground, etc), and also contact info for Sea Tow in the event you are a member and need help on the water
Knot Guide
itunes.apple.com/us/app/knot-guide-100+-knots/id293111210?mt=8
App that includes tons of knots, many fishing related - with step-by-step images for tying the knot
WeatherBug
itunes.apple.com/us/app/weatherbug/id281940292?mt=8
Weather app with radar images, current conditions, etc...
