Looks like a really good chart, looks like they are using the charts for offshore, I know the ones ofr the Bay are copies of NOAA charts, just got to come up with enough money to get me one of them, seems like there are too many toys I want lately.

I have Buggs island, sml, most of the northern Carolina lakes, philpott ! Then the south port area an still have room on my phone for all the music and everything else!! Maps are I have are lite colored!  One thing though! I don't have any games on it! This map is one of my best investments, being I don't have a gps on my finder! Are the hds units touch screen? Quick zoom like the phone or iPod, slide two fingers and zoom where ya want to go? Map like that is worth the room on my phone!! |

I don't have GPS on my boat now, I have a older Raymarine unit with chip for the bay and one for the NC sounds, never found one for the lake that I could afford. I'm thinking about getting one of the I pod touch units most likely a 16 or 32 gig one and the nav app would work on that OK I think. As for games I don't really care for them anyway Thanks for the help on the maps, may get the PC app for now and see how its works on my notebook

Not sure, but I have the 32GB iPhone and a ton of apps and other stuff loaded - what also matters is what regions you download for the maps - it does not automatically download everything in the US - you highlight and area and it downloads then (and is then on your phone from that point forward).

 been away for awhile how are you boys doing on the cats and stripers up there?if you have never fish Gaston for cats you sure make a trip they are wide open there now,went oct 20 fill the cooler up in 2 hrs,turn one back at 50#,30,25# it was a great day!now you don't do that ever time!and I didn't have to catch my bait!chicken was the bait?be coming to SML to stripers fish sometime in nov or dec.lol.K5
