I've already been told the band likely can't play outside in Jan. it would need to be indoors. It would be nice to have some food and sweat tea for Leo and our non drinkers also.

What about the Mexican place up the road where 391 spilled the drink? That was a nice area upstairs.

That's kind of where I keep coming back too... room for BRB to setup if they are OK with it - decent food (not my 1st choice for Mexican on the lake but its fine....), room for us to hang out and talk without being right in the middle of other diners, central enough location, etc..... |

That's kind of where I keep coming back too... room for BRB to setup if they are OK with it - decent food (not my 1st choice for Mexican on the lake but its fine....), room for us to hang out and talk without being right in the middle of other diners, central enough location, etc..... Yeah this is likely going to be the place unless we can come up with something on the water. Jakes was ok last year but I dont want bigjon to have to drink water all night! I wasn't very happy with Jakes the last time I ate there either. The service was terrible and the food was even worse, but I still left paying $45+ for two people. |

Are you talking about El Toreno? As far as Jakes goes I would have to pass if I had to eat there again. last time I was there it was terrible food and the server looked like she had just finished digging potatoes(dirty shirt and finger nails). My wife and I decided it was our last time there.

looks like we are confirmed for El Torito as the venue for the M&G on Sat, Jan 18th - we'll plan to kick off around 3:30 or so I think to give everyone a chance to get some fishing in and then get cleaned up and over to hang out.
We've got the upstairs bar area reserved and I believe that BRB is confirmed to play..... I'm sure Tyler will post up a new thread to capture all the info in one place.....

My friend Mike Gordon runs Jakes place. If you guys want to do it there I can set it up and it is really nice inside and they have a nice bar. I'm sure it will be open if not he would probably open it up for us if we have enough people. Just let me know. The food is great there!
