;D I just programmed the DVR to record it - thanks Slinger!
BentRod - it used to be called something else, but it's burried in between the channels with Lizzard Lick Towing, the Turtle Man, the Housewives of New Somewhere and Jersey Shore.

mward can just make copies for everyone that doesn't get that channel. That's what good moderators do.

The Documentary Channel is only available on Dish or Direct. You can buy the movie on the Documentary Channel's website for about $25 (includes shipping). I'll wait for Mward's pirated copy......it is Pirate Days this weekend at SML.

holy crap, if Clayton couldn't see the shows on Nick, there would be mutiny (staying with the pirate theme) around here.

Who saw the program? Just finished it on the DVR. They just had a pretty good dig on bass fishermen ;D
Captures the addictive insanity that is striper fishing pretty well..... A few too many fish being tossed into the live well for my taste (at least representing it as being the "norm") - didn't cover the preservation side which is kind of disappointing....

Waiting for my copy. ;D That is dissappointing about the conservation part. I have heard from friends that here in NC the Hickory Lake and Rhodiss striper fisheries were more or less decimated because of no/few restrictions. I have a good friend who fished Hickory quite a bit and said the lake was full of 25-30Lbers 5-7 years ago and now not so much...at all. Too many people found out about it and destroyed the fishery in 2-3 years.

Wish, some of those NC guys are the worst. Alot of them have a kill first attitude. I think a guide from NC came up for a couple summers on Leesville and destroyed it too. I heard they were loading the cooler with 30s everyday. Then they stopped coming back because all the big fish were basically gone.

It is here that I remind everyone that I am a VA native and was transplanted to NC for work 6 1/2 years ago. Can't wait to get back!
I pulled the regs and in NC the general rule for stripers with a couple of exceptions is:
16" minimum except 2 fish can be under 16". Limit 8 in combination, including only 2 fish less than 16".
Can you imaagine how fast that would decimate the SML striper population? What do you do with 8 - 15 lb stripers?

yea pushing wheel burrow loads of stripers up the ramp aint preserving much.... I was pretty disapointed with the show. Not what I was expecting.

For those of you with Dish or DirecTV, and missed the show but want to watch it, apparently it is airing again on Aug 10th at 10 pm.
