All I can say is WOW .That is exactly the reason I stopped fishing Bass tournaments all the Bull#$!@.

Yup I know the type....2 small tournament series that I follow/ fish.... Leesville bass masters and the one stop tournaments trail......known the guys in them 25 years or more and none of that stuff goes on.....

Out of the altavista area.....fish leesville and smith mt mostly.....next tourney is smith mt...July 20....8pm...4am.....5 fish 14 and over....1 or 2 men to a boat....best I remember its 60 bux a boat to fish.....launch at penhook

The only thing that's worse than a cheat is being accused of being a cheat when you're not..... I can understand why it got under your skin. Don't know the guy in question or if he's on the board here or not, but maybe he'll directly or indirectly get the message on how his likely well intended "speech" comes across to new folks participating in their tournaments.... Let's just stay on the right side of the line here before it gets too personal.....

Don't know the guy in question or if he's on the board here or not, Yeah, that was me. The way I won 240 tournaments -- me and some guys used to have a contest every day, actually several, big fish, small fish, ugliest fish. Usually the prize was just a lure or some cigarettes. |
