Nah I don't know anything about bass fishing. But I know who Hunter is talking about.
Pathological liar comes to mind. Kinda like jetski girl. Bigun saw her several times Saturday then claimed he went back to the same spot Sunday to catch fish!!

I have fished the tourny outta state park off and on for several years, Never got the "Speech" I don't really no a lot of the folks, Never had a problem with Chris. I kinda figured out a long time ago, Ya need to have thick skin when you fish tournaments, Always somebody with something to flap their jaws about. He aint that bad a guy, Just a little uptight. Some folks get that way when things aren't going there way.

Yeah, that was me. The way I won 240 tournaments -- me and some guys used to have a contest every day, actually several, big fish, small fish, ugliest fisherman. HA!!!! LOL!!!  I think my original post has been altered just a bit. In no way did I mean to imply that any of you fisherman are any more ugly than any of the rest of the ugly fisherman. |

Leo, SuperBasser or VT win every Bass Tournament around. Just sayin......  There are guys like that in every activity. Been there done that and know it all. Fish his tournaments, win the money and let him go nuts trying to figure out how you are cheating. |

Once you fish a few he'll be alright, Probally just the "New Guy" syndrome. I never heard of him winning 240 tournaments. Most of the ones I fished , He did about like most, always have the winning fish get off, someone on my spot, left my secret bait at home or they just won't biting. Along with many more. I fished Saturday night,late.1 am til 7 am. Lost a good one on a thunderstick, broke another off on a worm caught 2 12-13" striper. and missed 7-8 blow ups on top water. My wife landed the only bass we got that night on a worm. Not the best night I had this year.

It does seem like the thunder.. bite has been late. Thanks for the tip on that bait, I tried a rattling jig with no takers. To "enhance' the action of the T/S put on a set of #6 short shank mustad triple grips, I get better hooks ups, A striper will wreck them. I think the warmer water has them at bay for now.

W F F. I fish mostly for fun, Used to fish tournies quite a bit. Just got to exspensive, More times than not I ended up donating. Good part of the time the fish I get on always seem to be " Late Biters "

Agreed ray...jus before dark on deep water docks12-20ft. I usually can put two or three in the boat before 9:30 or so on a wacky rig or a chigger crawl fished on a shaky head.. I also like the double jointed rapala with the res lip.. I have done well with that..
