What kind of yak do you have, thinking of getting one to play with and to fish out of, looked at dicks sporting goods and the 12' one they have.

I have the wilderness system ride 115 that i picked up at nack country ski and dports in salem. Its just shy of 12'. I love this yak. Ive tried others but havent found any ot ohers that were as stable as ths one. Solid construction. A little on the heavier side but also has a higher payload capacity. Ive stood on mine with no issues. Supper stable, when i get hot i sit sideways with my feet/legs dangling in the water, even in the ocean no problem with feeling like its going to tip. One weekend i can meet up with you and can try it out if you want.

The ride 115 has a limit of 500. The design of the hull makes it super stable. Ive stood on the side of it without flipping it and i weigh 240
