What are you making? Many people use marine plywood when they could get away with regular plywood. The main difference is marine plywood is guaranteed to be without voids. I have owned a boat before that made it 25 years and it was completed constructed from regular plywood. It was a two man sneak with an electric trolling motor for propulsion. I would not worry about marine grade wood unless you are trying to support a gas powered engine or a lot of weight per square foot.

You could get buy with regular plywood. I would just use the premium grade or select grade. I would then seal it so that it keeps the moisture out. If you know someone with a spool gun and a plasma cutter aluminium is awesome.
