Location: Honey Hole Weather: 72 windy from the SE and complete cloud cover, then clearing to sunny skies by late. Water Temp 66 - 68 Technique: 3" punkin/chartreuse plastic grub on 1/8oz jig head
Decided last minute to take the yak to my old honey hole for some afternoon fishing after work before the front comes through thinking the fish would be active. They sure were. Caught 8 LM's ranging from 6" to 20" within the first hour and half of being there. Had another one that was nice size come unbuttoned next to the yak before I could get my net under him. Also had a huge carp break my 6# line before I could loosen the drag. Once the clouds broke and the sun started shinning though the fishing died. Called it a day by 7:15pm.
Will have pics posed after I get still shots from the video.
