Went out thursday evening and loaded up the tank full of gizzards ranging from money makers to mack daddies. Pulled a couple couple flats in the lower lake with no success. Not even a nervous bait. Went out fri morning and fished mid lake to upper lake. The wind made it tough pulling boards and without any action I decided to switch up and cut bait for while. Wont expecting much striper action since i had no alewives but figured the gizzards would bring some cats in. Caught several eater size channels and blues. Heard some noise up in the woods and was expecting to see turkeys when this ol mama bear and cub came down to the bank for a drink of water. Was pretty cool to watch. They were about 20yrds from me. I couldnt see my phone in the sunlight good enough to find the zoom. Decided to make a evening trip Saturday and the rains from fri morning had arrived turning the lake into a muddy mess. I fished the clear water pulling boards to no avail and then went muddy cut baiting again. Caught a few more eater cats that way. All in all a pretty crappy weekend as far as the fishing went for me. Wind was tough and the friday storm seemed to mess em up, then the mud didnt help matters. Probably shoulda went today but said screw it. I saw water temps ranging from 55 to 74 degrees this weekend. Mama Bear Baby Bear Thats whacha call a mudline
