The March artificial bite is finally here and it's almost April haha...what a wacky weather year it has been so far. Anyway, have been out almost every evening the last two weeks and the bite has been extremely good. We are not catching the quality that the guys with big gizzards are getting but we have caught no less than 10-12 a trip, with 26 being the most. Most of them have been in the 4-6 lb range, but I did get a nice fish Thursday that was in the 16-18 lb class 35". And on bass tackle, every fish is a lot of fun. They are starting to swirl and break sporadically right before dark and if we can get a lure in that swirl we are getting bit 90% of the time. Monkeys, swimbaits and flukes have been the go to here lately. Have tossed the rig some but the single baits are producing right now for some reason. Followed a boat last night that was tossing rigs and they never got bit and we'd get 1-2 a point behind em haha. Water temps have been 46-48 but should be warming here soon. Fish have been on main lake and secondary points. Right dead on the bank to a few feet off, had a few hit right at the boat. The breaking fish have been in the middle of the channel and coves. Can't miss the tell tale cinder block tossing explosions even if you can't see them haha. Good luck!

Managed to get out Friday AM around Indain Point Marina and was lucky enough to find them in 20 foot of water just down river from the marina...We got 12 using Red Eye Shad and Rat-L-trap but all of them were small. Under 20".. Sure was fun though.......
