I have a 35 gallon SBT 2. the circulation leaves a lot to be desired. The angle of the water going into the tank is not ideal. Has anyone mounted a clam shell over the tank input to redirect the water in a more circular direction?

I used a screw on end cap over the outlet, after drilling a hole in the side of the cap. That redirected the flow around the side of the tank. Been a while ago, but thinking someone else gave me the idea.   |

That’s exactly what I did to mine years ago. Mine originally had the spray bar but I removed that and added the Venturi.
