fishing 21st.

Haven't posted in a bit but haven't been fishing. Finally me and my buddy went out on the 21st in the morning. Beautiful day clear skies slight breeze. Fished from just above the s curves up to magnum poimt marina. Had fish breaking and running bait on the banks off and on most of the day. Ended up catching 19. This is one of the best trips we have had in a couple years. Used live bait and casting to breaking fish. 3 or 4 inch alewives on down lines and planner boards. Fish were caught on everything. most o0f the fish were in the slot but we did get to keep 5 so we had plenty to eat.

Quick question to John,
When you say Magnum, are you talking about the Magnum in Black Water or the old Magnum at Indian Pointe?
The reason I'm asking, s turns to the black water is a long way. Above Hales Ford Bridge turns (that I used to call S turns) to Indian Pointe is do-able.
Been trying to get a good friend on some stripers, but our health is restricting us to daylight hours. Just want to put him on one striper.

Can’t answer for him, but I bet if you implemented his game plan anywhere on the lake this Sunday and Monday, you’d catch fish.

I agree. Going to go early evening tomorrow, 10-30-23, out of Crystal Shores and float small bait while casting the banks.

There were 3 of us. It was the s curves on Blackwater. Yes i believe you could have caught fish on most anything that day.
