Went for our annual vacation to SML last week and stayed in an area that was new to me. Thanks to a couple of members here on the forum, we felt good about where to start fishing. We got out early about 4-5 times, with most days being quite slow with only a short or two mixed in with some cats and largemouth. However, we did manage one good day with a short , 2 mid 20's, and 2 just over 30". Mostly fished near Becky's and Betty's with a few other boats which seemed to have about the same luck we did. Fished from first light until about 10-11 when boat traffic ran us off. Thanks to all who gave info/suggestions, hope to be back sooner than next summer.
