My name is Chris , and I was a member last year but somehow forgot my user name. anyhow im hooked on the stripers on tgeir spawning run. I have been doing it for a number of years , but I am looking into trying the lake out. Any tips and info would be greatly appreciated. Im from Rustburg , I have a grizzly tracker =1648.

Thanks Cornelia..I will do that. Ive been down past brookneal a few times in tgeno past two Weeks to no avail.but they should be here any day now.

Grizzly, I live down 615 about 10 miles from Rustburg. I heard last week they were catching some at the 360 bridge but that there were still a pile in the upper lake that haven't hit the river yet.

Welcome aboard. Lots of good information on here. We would love to have you give us some information on how to fish in the river. Many of us would like to try it but we know so little about it.

Jon im off of poorhouse. Ive heard pretty much the same but ive also heard a fishing tale that a ball of fish has made it up just past 360. Im thinking with the warm coming for the nextget few days will the water and get them moving. Thanks striperseeker , I will pass along any info I get and any questions are welcome. Wonder if the power plant (clover)discharges any warm water or if goes into a pond??.... I know the water here in Hurt is cooled in a pond
