So it's been a while, but decided to log in and see what's happening with everyone.
Appears to be a bit slow, I guess Facebook and other sites have stolen some of the magic that used to be found here.
I am still around, living in Indian Creek and fishing when life allows.
Anyone out there still lurking?

Hillbilly, I don’t live near the lake but like to come up from NC as often as I can. I love the lake, and look at these boards often to read about any fishing updates, good or bad. Seems it has gone silent and has been lost to pm’s, Facebook, etc. I’m not opposed to pm’s, as friends become friends, understand that, not on Facebook at all but a friend of mine is and there’s definitely activity out there being shared. I wish this site would become more active with a community of fisherman only talking to fisherman, sharing the wealth. Don’t need specifics, just a, “how it’s going” kinda report. I’m thinking of a couple of long weekends to come up from October-December. I’ll post up pre trip and I’ll definitely post up post trip if and when I decide to come up.

I am looking forward to some fall fishing myself. I haven’t striper fished since around end of May, and really haven’t fished for bass or anything but a couple times all summer.

I normally try to hold off till September but I will be in a month long outage won’t end till mid October at the best so I’m not sure on how my fall fishing is going to be this year!

Good to see you up on the net, HB. Yep, it's slow, but it is the summer. It's just impossible to navigate SML safely this time of year. I'll wait until after Labor Day to get back out. C'mon winter.

I still row out to the Yacht Club Sign (or the Walmart Parking Lot, as it is better known) some mornings. My kid is in college now, so I have more time than sense.

Nice to see and hear some familiar names. I've been out due to boat and arthritis. Getting back out. Boat is ready, truck isn't. Going with a Frei d that is new to fishing. Did get bait two weeks ago. All alewifes. Excellent size, died pretty quick. Marked some, saw some chasing bait. Very hot day.
Again, seeing some familiar names gets the itch to go fishing going.
