I took my 7 year old son out for a few hours. In hopes of getting on a few fish. Water Temp: 45 Bait: Good size Alwives Fishing Techniques: Ran four boards with 1/4 weights on them and one freeline line. The freeline never got touched. Fishing Location: (Roanoke arm) We just put out spreads near the back creeks and fished are way back out. We boated 4 fish and missed one. Two fish were in the slot and two were under the slot.. REEL BOY!! REEL     |

Yep - moving pics in Photobucket changes the links, so breaks the pics wherever you've used those links..
Definitely looks like a boy that can knows how to handle a fish.

I have about 12' of line out past my outside boards and maybe 15' of line out past my inside boards with 1/4oz weights on them.. If I mark fish deep I will slow up some.. I am not 100% sure how deep the the bait is running at all times but, I would guess they are running from 8' to 15' depending on the speed I am going.. I have been pulling the bait pretty slow..
