went out last night to catfish but seems bug flatheads are still spawning. about 1230 the alwives and stripers got rrally active for about an hour and then it slowed down. got 3 on thunderstick which was a change of this years normal. probably 90% of stripers this spring have been on f18s. mostly largemouth on tsticks(including a 10.2lb couple weeks ago). last night all stripers were small, 4-6lbs.fished mid lake roanoke side not far from bridge

Thanks for the report glad you got on some we changed things up this year and pretty much just threw plugs instead of bait fishing seems to me all the fish we caught doing that was all smaller fish than normal bait fishing! We haven’t been for over three weeks now smith just gets too crazy for my liking this time of year, plus all small fish makes me rethink how we done this spring.
