3/13 Crappie, short trip (late report)

Made it out for a few hours, fished from 1:15 pm to 3:30 pm. WT 66 AT 80.
Running on a couple hours sleep on account we have a newborn baby at the house, born Easter morning, I didn’t last long, but needed some fresh air. Fished upper blackwater, hit some of my go to spots this time of year and all of them had fish on them. Mixture of docks and brush all 10’ or less of water.
Caught 20 before I broke my favorite dock shooting rod, all around 9-11” fish. Most came on 1/32 solid white maribu jig, others came on BG blue ice.
Was pretty mad after I broke my rod, so I quit and went home, plus I was exhausted from lack of sleep.
Went home ordered a new rod and took a nap
