Wt 58 Wind dang near none Air 60 dropped to 49 when we left Fished from 830 till around 12, after loosing all the fish I did on the last trip I was thinking my rod didn’t have enough back bone so I picked up a new med heavy st Croix . I had took the rod I bought dad years ago for flukes that thing is a pos couldn’t cast no where near what my buddy did last week so I picked dad up a new reel and rod this week filled his up with power pro braid. We gave both a little workout last night. I had looked at the weather and last night was pretty much the only night to fish with low winds. We started off kinda of slow but boated 8 biggest was around ten pounds plus picked up a big 20 pound flat heat on a plug, thought I had a huge striper. I call that a win dad loved the new rod and I only had one come off at the boat but it wasn’t from a bad hook set! Tight lines and good luck fellers

Not like they do in May. Water was back down in the mid 50s yesterday, so no shad spawn yet.

Thanks for the report!
What type of areas are you targeting on these nighttime trips?
Main lake points Creek backs Bluff banks Creek bends Mid depth flats Just outside the ring of dock lights Drive around listening for sucking noises All of the above?
