fishing 2/24

Got out very early 6:00. Went to Roanoke 1st cove on right past bridge. Saw feeding activity for a few short burst but could not hook up any. at 9 we moved further up to the motel and fished back in there  for 2 hours only catching 1 at 27 inches. moving back toward home tried a couple coves right above the park only able to get 1 more at 27 inches. Caught several really nice largemouthes but stripers were hard to come by. Couldnt even find many on sonar. It was fun catching the greenies.

There was a ton of them further up the Roanoke Saturday and Sunday. They were pushed up in the creek backs, in a few different major creeks.
