Went out 11/22. water was at 65 nice clear day bit cold in morning but warmed up nicely. Went up blackwater and fished from s cueves to the oold boys camp never found any groups just an occasional single. WE did manage to catch 1 bout 22 inches. Next day went to state park on roanoke and looked in numerous coves just above that. FFound huge amounts of bait right abve park but once again just scattered fish. Caught 2 same size as yesterday. I guess we did twice as good as the day before.

Any time you doulble your fun supposed to be as good as it gets !! Hum !!! Just wondering how far fish was up the Blackwater My friend has a camp at the End usualy can do pretty good this time of year !!! Havent being up but Spring for night bite was up round Begining if Blackwater did real good in Spring !!! Keep Serval to eat throwed back Serval !!

Thanks for the report! And sounded like you had a good time kept the skunk out the boat, I’m going to try it again in the morning see what’s happening!
