Hi, my name is Fly. I like to fly fish. I just recently moved back. I can throw a 12ft. net, set up umbrelas, and read a Lowarance. Some call me the fish whisperer. I like fish, and girls. I tend to stay away from cigarette smoking monkeys.
So guys, I'm back. . . I just turned down several jobs with various fly shops out west to come back. I brought my 19 year old moorman with me. Turns out Fly is gonna be having a little fly buzzing around come September. I moved back for several reasons, but one of the biggest was that If ima grow up and raise a young'un then I wanna do it here. Many of you guys have been like family and I just wanna keep in touch. Right now I'm just hustling around Roanoke doing whatever comes my way and picking up a trip or two as they come along. In the last week I've ripped out a bathroom and worked at a body shop. Have a Jackson trip this coming week. If anyone between Blacksburg and Lynchburg needs any help just let me know. I can do about anything.
Back to fishing....so I got here just over a week or so ago. I've been one the James twice. First trip my angler had a nice musky come up and slam his fly but he wasnt fast enough to connect. My last trip we only had a single bite, but we landed a beautiful musky. Pic will be in the Roanoke Times on Wendsday it is also on my blog:
blog.fishingwithfly.com, been trout fishing in West Virginia lately. Got a awesome streamer bite going one if anyone is interested.
Soon the musky will die down due to spawing season, many of you guys will spot me rowing around in my raft chasing the spring run of stripers. Currently the run is starting down on the Stanton.
All is well in "fly world" Let me know if anyone needs anything done around their business or home. Also if you are intested in catching a musky, trout, striper, or smallmouth let me know. I'm sure we can work something out.
Look foward to seeing you around.
