Well just got back from a crappy week at the beach, whole family caught Covid and was sick the whole time, Luckily I came out unscathed. So now we on quarantine. Yippie!! (Being sarcastic)
So decided to go this morning to get away from house, I was on the water at 5:30am. Found crappie pretty quick, but they was slow to bite. Dead sticking gulp minnows was what ended up working. Had to basically stick it in front of there face and just wait them out. Wouldn’t even feel the bite, or see it. All was found on boat docks in ~20’ of water. Got 14 in the boat all real nice, 12”+. Hung into something that broke me off, guessing a flat head. Back to the truck at 8am, I was hungry!! Haha.
Released all fish today, only because my livewell pump quit on me, hadn’t been for that I would have been cleaning 14.
Home at 8:30 and fixed me some homemade biscuits, sausage gravy and eggs, boy was it good

Sorry to hear your family took sick but glad to see you found a silver lining. I'd say you got the best of all worlds - you got to fish, you got a terrific breakfast, and you turned some fish away for the next generation to catch. Straight As in my book.
