5/17 & 5/20 nite bite

5/17- fished 8p-12a
Bait and fish came up good about 10:30, put 3 stripers, 2 flatheads and 1 LMB in the boat. Missed several, had several hook up that got off, including one that broke me off. If anyone catches a striper in bull run area with a chartreuse bomber in its mouth holler at me, I’d like it back. It was my lucky plug😆 fish caught on hit sticks and top water

5/20- fished 10p-230a. Very breezy and tons of boat traffic. Almost to many boats to be comfortable. About got sunk by a humongous yacht that came plowing by at 11pm, doing about 10mph and throwing a 5’wake. Had to find points that was shielded from the wind to find fish. Put 6 stripers, 3LMB and 1 21” SMB in the boat. Also missed several. Bite was best from 12:30-2. All fish caught on top.

As you all know yuppie season is upon us, so be safe out there, lots of stupid people that don’t know how to drive and don’t have any courtesy for others.

Yeah I was out on 5/20. It was horrendous. Pleasure boats and fishing boats out the wazoo. Wake up call to the fact I hate weekends, night and day. Had friends on Cherokee at the same time catching fish in peace and quiet. SML is terribly over trafficked and over fished.

Was out Thursday afternoon into evening. It was like the 4th of July. Getting worse out there by the day.

Yep I agree I reckon I only have maybe a couple more weekends to fish till I put everything up till fall! Looks like you guys had a decent trip!
