Managed to get out last night for a few hours, got on water at 10pm. Water temp 65. I was shocked to see no trucks at the boat ramp, guess everyone scared of the rain. Started plugging main lake points, didn’t take long to find some fish. Bait was thick on the bank and so was feeding fish. Managed to get 3 stripers in the boat, all 20-22” Caught 2 flatheads, one probably around 10lbs the other closer to 20 lbs. Also caught my new PB largemouth, she was a pig, all beat up and spawned out, measured 23” long, my scales was dead so couldn’t get a weight. I’d guess her to be 8-9lbs. All fish released to fight again one day All caught on a bomber wake minnow, right on the bank.

what a great fish - congrats! noted the black spots. i see those on a lot of river fish, seldom on lake fish. VDGIF says they're harmless but they sure do look funky.
