On the water at daylight, WT 52, upper end of BW.
Started out plugging for one of those fish with the stripes on it but never found any takers. All along I was running panoptics and low and behold I stumbled across a boat dock loaded with crappie, and being the crappie addict that I am I put down the striper pole and commenced to filling my live well.
Caught about 15 or so on that particular dock and some others in the same creek. All in 15’ of water suspended 6’ under floaters. Sort of a strange pattern I thought for this time of year.
After that I hit several other creeks and could not find any on docks, all the rest of the fish we caught was in 4’ or less of water up in brush
Ended day with 29 in the boat, 25 of those made it to the filet table
