Okay, I've sent this same question to Lowrance, probably take a while. Is there anyway to interface the 2d info from my 111c via the Lowrance Ethernet unit and have it inputted to the new HDS-10 Gen2? I'm pretty sure the digital interface won't work, but thought i'd ask if anyone knew right off.

I am not clear on what support the Ethernet has on the 111c HD on an HDS network, but I am fairly certain that you can connect the two units over the NMEA network to share waypoints and such but not the 2D sonar. Does the 11c have the "red" or "blue" network - the "old style" is the "blue" network, and would require an adapter cable to connect to the HDS's NMEA2K network (now know as the "red" network, though the connector on the HDS is black...) Based on the info in the post linked below, it looks like the 111c has the old-style "blue" network www.ohiogamefishing.com/community/showthread.php?t=114491

Yeah that's kind of what I figured. Thanks. There's a guy on another site who's talking about interfacing a hummingbird sidescan with a Lowrance HDS, but he's reconfiguring boards and crap. All that's not worth it.
