Had a personal best last night, fishing alone with 4 rods trying to see what they liked and all 4 got smacked at the same time. At one point I had fish busting bait at the surface on all sides of my boat. Somehow I landed and released all 4. First fish to the boat was 30” followed by two 28” and last one fighting harder than the others was 26”. Truly one of the coolest experiences in my fishing career. Also added one more 30” to the boat not long after clearing the chaos from the quad. Not bad for the first day out this winter. W.T. - 52-53 degrees Waters fairly clean. Bait is 20-30ft in most creeks. Bait size used for above - 4 true mongos 10-11” range(those all gotten eaten in that quad) rest of tank was smaller 5-7” Was only able to grab 2 pics with all the chaos

Congrats, those memories last forever. Maybe its the weather but this seems like fall action to me?? I remember drifting into a massive school on Leesville lake. I tell everyone that it felt like a warzone with all the topwater action and my screen going full black. I caught fish for about 45 minute straight and had to quit putting lines out. Thanks for the post

Man I bet that was wild. My action lasted about as long as it took me to fight 4 fish to the boat. My pup didn’t know what to do, she could see them swirling and almost jumped in to catch her own. I do my best to post detailed reports especially ones where a pattern has changed. I learned and still learn a lot on here hopefully I can help someone else get into them.
