Weird, was backing up to my boat to hook up and noticed that the prop head/fin isn’t in line with the shaft. Like something on the body twisted. The front of the cone is removable ( not sure how to do it). It also has a built in ducer. Anybody that can shed some light on this. Pic below. Thanks in advance.

If you take off the prop, there’s probably two hex head screws in the recess. They ought to hold that nose cone on; they’ll be as long as the motor housing.
On my motor guide, they were locktited in place and it took some careful work to get them loose.
That’s real weird how it’s twisted. I’m not sure how that could happen.
Also, gonna be a seal inside that nose cone. Be careful with it.

10-4, I’ll go that route. Wasn’t sure what to unseal first. Thank you sir.

I think due to the length of those bolts that hold the tail to the nose cone there is enough slop that the tail can twist a bit if you hit a rock or something.
Should be able to loosen them just a bit, realign and tighten back up without removing everything.

I was able to tap it back straight with a rubber mallet, then I tightened the bolts back up. Thanks guys.
