I’m moving out west full time in the Spring, and don’t wanna haul it out there. The boat is pretty bad @$$. I’ve had it out on everything from small trout lakes to big sounds and bays. I’ve caught everything from carp to 150# tarpon out of it. I built it to run the barrier islands out of Oyster. I no longer have a photo bucket account but will happily text pictures to anyone who is interested.
Boat is a restored 1968 Dixie fiberglass boat. The good: 55# power drive. Lowrance with sidescan Live well turned into a bait tank Stainless rod holders Flip down cleats Manual jack plate 25 hp 2 stroke Mercury Flip Flop pontoon seat with storage. Insanely bright transom mounted bait light.
The bad: The motor runs great but needs a bearing or something replaced in the lower unit. It started squealing last time I took it out.
The trailer kind of sucks and has seen too much salt water. It gets the job done, but that’s about it.
