Launched at BayRoc- WT 57 degrees. Trolled from Trestle to tennis courts. Caught two- small one and a 29 incher. Mark tons of bait everywhere, and marked what looked like a lot of stripers. Buddy of mine fished last week using small bait on downlines and did pretty well.

Thanks for the report med man. Funny you mentioned small bait. I literally told my fishing buddy we might need small bait to make our trip a little bit ago. We are there week after next for 4 days, I’ll post up each day and at the end, good or bad. We are staying in Hales Creek on the water, and fishing 3-5 miles up or down from there.

Good luck herringbone! My buddy commented that the cold temps will eventually move the bait out of the shallow water eventually.
