First time fishing since late summer right before the lake dried up. Got up at 6:30 today to pouring rain and to find half our bait dead. Waited out the downpour and got on the water around 7. Marked a lot of fish around fifteen feet suspended over 30-50ft of water, but didn't have many takers. Ended the day with three fish to cook up, from dink to 25", with the other somewhere in between. Caught the 25" on a downline, the other two came off a planer boards. We worked Indian Creek and the submerged mountain just north of it, but there seemed to be a decent number of boats headed upstream, maybe others were having better luck farther up lake. Cold morning, but nice once the sun came out. Water temp right at 45
