7/29 mixed bag night trip

Well wasn’t sure where to post this on account I caught a mixture of fish, but my intended target was crappie and white perch of course so I’ll just post it here, lol

Launched boat at 9:30 pm
Air temp hot!
Water temp hot!
Me still sweating and hot from working all day!!

Focused on docks with underwater lights, throwing mini flukes and 3” gulp minnows.

Found fish on every light we fished

Caught 12 crappie, 6 jumbo white perch, 6 stripers, and a carp!! Yep you read correctly a dang carp, I forgot how hard those things fought, been years since I caught one.

All fish released to fight another day

If I hadn’t been so dang tired from working all day might have been a different story, I had a hard time throwing those perch back haha

Called it quits at 11:30

thanks for report. Just got a new livescope and am going to take up crappie and perch fishing. Have always caught a few striper fishing but after reading you and johnr decided i was going to give it a try. Keep up the reports as they are always appreciated.
