Took a work friend out this morning, hoping to get him on some slabs

Before we could get to our first spot of the morning we just happened upon about a half acre of breaking stripers. The water was literally boiling. Was able to hook up with 3 fairly quickly with one of those breaking off. Action only lasted about 5 minutes then they was gone

My friends first striper!! He got a big kick out of that.

After that started hitting docks for crappie, didn’t take us long to find some. Ended up with 22 nice keepers, 5 over 13”.

Good mess of fish for my friend, he stopped in his way home and bought him a deep fryer hahaha

Gulp minnows on 1/32 oz jig head was the winner again today

Sounds like an awesome morning. You’ve got them crappie dialed in for sure. Rolling up on some topwater stripers, pretty priceless there. Congrats to you and especially your bud.
