A rod commissioned as a gift to pursue smallmouth bass on Virginia's New River - this Virginia Tech themed rod is built on a 7' Batson Enterprises RainShadow Rod Blanks RX6 SP844 with moderate-fast action designed for 10-20 lb line, using black stainless ALPS ForeCast double-footed & single footed guides, Winn Grips Fishing grips.

A VT color scheme open Chevron wrap & guide wraps and custom decals round out the decorative elements of this rod - which was headed to the New River on Saturday in pursuit of its prey.
