The Fallen Outdoors rod is complete and ready to head to the Fishing For The Fallen, Striped Bass Tournament this weekend at Smith Mountain Lake, VA. Honored to have a chance to do this rod for a group that serves our Veterans by giving them a chance to get out into the Wild through hunts or fishing trips.
This rod is a full Batson Enterprises build - using a Made in the USA RainShadow Rod Blanks Judge JDGCB70M crank bait blank, ALPS ForeCast MVT reel seat, Alps black 316 stainless guides & Forecast Carbon Fiber split grip & butt-cap. A big thanks to Bill Batson, CEO of Batson Enterprises, for donating the blank used in this build!
The rod features two custom weaves - an American flag in the reel seat blank recess and a "Soliders Cross" featured prominently on the blank. A custom Eagle cross-wrap was also done framing the stripper guide.
