Has anyone been on Philpott recently? I’m thinking about going this Saturday but not sure of the water temps and conditions. Thanks in advance for any info.

Not much to post, but, hit the Pott today, put in upper end water temps were 51 at the bridge and it got cooler further down lake to 48 at #7 marker. Dingy water moving in the creeks and the Rennet side of the river had some floaters, be aware. Caught a few bass and crappie, all on a jigging rap. Lost more fish than I caught.

Water looks dirty and you look cold.  The Pott is a cool little lake. Tons of character. And some pretty good fish. Nice work! |
