We're 2 weeks away from the kick-off of the 2021 Striper Mafia Tournament season! We are still refining some of the logistics, but here are the high-level details.... - 2 Captain's Meetings on Friday evening - one at Magnum Point Marina, one at Smith Mountain Building supply. Times to be finalized in the coming week so look for details to be sent out the week ahead - Due to on-going COVID restrictions, we will be doing this as best Social Distanced as we can - post-tournament will be a "drive-through" check-in to drop off your materials - and we will go Live on Facebook to announce the results and winners can come back to collect prizes / winnings. Hopefully in April we can be back to normal..... Make sure to pre-register at www.StriperMafia.com/registration

Tournament Weekend is here.... a few additional points of info just in case you missed it... and some new info....
Charity collection - We will be collecting jars of peanut butter as we do every March for the School kids lunch backpack program. For every 5 jars (16 oz please) you bring, you'll get a raffle ticket entry to win a pair of gimbal rod holder mounted rod holder trees from Scruggs Stainless & Aluminum Works. Please help us exceed our collection of past years.
Pre-Tournament Logistics Reminder - There are TWO Captain's Meetings - one at SML Building Supply from 5-6:30 and one at Magnum Point Marina from (about 7 or as soon as I can get there) till 9. A representative (only one is needed) from your team must attend ONE of the meetings to pay entry fees, drop off release form, pick up token card & measuring board. - if you are coming to SML Building supply, please do NOT arrive before 5pm - help support our sponsor - Magnum Point Marina - buy planning to have dinner or a snack there on Friday....
Post Tournament Logistics - in past years there has been request for extended fishing hours to get some of the late day/evening bite. As such we have extended the tournament hours to close check-in at 6pm. You are not required to be on the water for the full 12 hours - if you wish to come off the water mid-day and go back out, that is fine. Likewise, you can come off early and come to check-in which it starts. - We will hold the post-tournament at SML Building Supply - I had published 4:30-6 but will plan to be there about 4pm if there are those need to get on the road back to other places, talk with me at the Captains meeting and I can - as the VA Gov has relaxed the outdoor gathering limits to now include up to 100 people, we will allow folks to stay in the parking lot area of SML Building Supply for the post-tournament awards. As this is late-breaking change we won't have the normal "stage production" but will still go Live on Facebook to present awards and prizes.
Tournament Directors - this season I welcome three additional directors to the Series - Khris Bradly, Chris Bolt & Craig Miller. Each of us will be responsible for running one of the tournaments, and will be helping with the pre/post tournament logistics. On the events we run we would not fish/compete in the event - but will be participating in the other events. Just want to ensure there is no surprise to anyone on this point.
Fish All Four - we'll be announcing the prize for the Fish All Four raffle at the post-tournament check-in - be sure to plan and fish all the four event with us for a chance to win a great prize....
If something comes up last minute and you are not able to participate, please drop an email to let us know....
thanks The Striper Mafia
