Ok, this may be ridiculous but last fall, we would be fishing a spot near the dam with little or no one around. Hook up a couple and in little or no time there would be several boats around ready to fish. It was down near the mountain. I also noticed several times drones flying around at various times this time of year. Anyone know of people using drones to check out the lake for activity?

I know of a guy that has been doing a number of videos around the lake and the dam with drones and did some last summer... I’m sure it’s a popular spot.
That said, I don’t think they are being used for fishing spot reconnaissance- not like the dam is exactly some secret spot - especially last summer

Yeah if you are near the mountain or mouth of Craddock in the fall, two boats just left there and three boats are on their way there. Pretty much anytime.

Can you imagine being out on the water for about 5-6 hours, somewhere down near the dam, and now you're hungry. Get out the phone, place an order for some lunch, and have it delivered by drone right to your front deck. It won't be long before this becomes a reality.

hmmmmm. a drone delivery franchise. no more waiting in line at a drive thru, no more crackly speakers you can't hear or understand anything thru. one question: does the drone wait around long enuff for you to check your order to make sure it's correct?

Its been about 5-6 years ago, I was trolling above the bridge and had a drone hover over my boat longer than I thought it should. At that moment I figured it was a kid with a new toy.
I hooked a striper while the drone was still around, after putting the fish in the cooler out popped a game warden boat ..... They came out of nowhere. They cheaked my creel and saftey equipment and left. I was thinking maybe it was the wardens watching the whole time. Eye in the sky type chit.

ive always thought if you could get a drone, it'd be pretty cool to fly it up and down the lake and look for fish activity. legal? not sure.. I've seen it all, everything from drones locating fish, to actually catching fish from the drones with a quick release clip, pretty cool... here's a drone fishing video... www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QV8l3OeEzI

I'd love to make similar ones. How do you think if Potensic Dreamer drone can be used for the same stuff? I've read about it here, and it seems to be a proper one.
