Kept with my plan to keep moving further towards hales Ford every morning until I find more than 1 a morning. (I set weird goals for myself that often don’t pay off but helps me get a better understanding of how they migrate) Caught and landed one 30” early then had a rod go down but it let go before I could get to the rod. The fish we did catch was at 20ft in 60-70 fow Also like the last 2 mornings it slowly took the bait, never took drag just loaded the rod lightly. This one was actually on the top when I started reeling (we saw a big tail flop) and it took off after it felt me. Water temp: 43-44° Air temp: 28-33
